NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHY
Congratulations! You’re a Mummy or Daddy.
I am fully trained in newborn safe posing and being a mummy of three beautiful children I am well practised at setting babies to ensure the best images possible.
It’s a specialised industry and requires invested training.
Newborn sessions are ideally done in this very small window of babies first few weeks of being born.
Studio session:
5-21 days old is the best time to have a newborn session, therefore booking a newborn session is advised while still pregnant as I can’t always accommodate last minute bookings. Therefore please book any time after your 12 weeks scan to secure your session.
For home newborn lifestyle session:
Babies can be any age. As this type of session is a non posed lifestyle session babies ages does not effect the session.
I would still ask please that you book in while still pregnant as I can not always accommodate last minute bookings.
I provide everything for newborn photography from outfits to props. If you would like to include older siblings I ask if you can dress them please as my main focus is your new arrival.

ABSOLUTELY LOVED SAM
We have had a lovely afternoon with Sam for my baby’s first photoshoot! I won a competition with her when I was pregnant last year but due to covid and lockdown we haven’t been able to book in until now. What can I say….. it was 1000% worth the wait! My daughter absolutely loved Sam, she made us both feel at ease and she even bought her some flowers to play with on the shoot! I cannot recommend her enough!! Payment plans can be from your 12 weeks scan. Pay a little each month/week and have your newborn/family session all paid for once baby arrives.
Your images will be edited to my highest standards before being selected for your gallery, a process that takes approximately 1-2 weeks.
Once your images are ready for you, you’ll be invited to view your gallery and musical slideshow via a private online gallery.
I also have a Bump to Baby package which includes both your Maternity and Newborn sessions. Please ask me for options on this as there is a minimum spend.

WHEN WILL WE BOOK MY SESSION?
I aim for your session to be within 2 weeks of birth. (5-21 days old is best) Of course if this is after due to medical problems or similar, don’t worry.
Newborns tend to be most sleepy at this time.
If this time goes over, I like to advise you on how babies may be more awake and may not be able to be put into the poses. However don’t fret, your gallery will always be beautiful. There are many poses we can do to show off their perfect little selves.
HOW LONG WILL THE SESSION BE?
Around 2-3 hours depending on your baby. If they’re super sleepy, it’s on the shorter side, but if they need extra feeding, burping etc then we will simply take more time.
I won’t rush your baby so please don’t have anything planned for directly after your session as we can possibly go over time. The room will be warm to hot in temperature so please come suitably dressed for heat – layers are best.
WHEN WILL MY IMAGES BE READY?
Your images are hand edited to the highest standard, this process takes around 7-10 days, at which point you will be invited to view your gallery via an online private gallery.
DO I HAVE TO BUY A PACKAGE?
No – If you have any special requests or would like to chat about other options that may suit you more please let me know and I will try my best to accommodate and hopefully have some options for you.
